My Product Is Rejected, Why?
During the moderation process, Joom team evaluates product’s name, images, description, variations and other data individually and makes sure all of the data corresponds with Joom rules. Please refer to the article Product Moderation to learn more.
If any part of the product does not correspond with Joom rules, the product gets rejected with a relevant reason.
How to Find a Rejected Product?
- Go to the Products page in your Joom account;
- Using product filters choose the products with the Rejected by Joom status;
- Open the product card and check the diagnostics. Please refer to the article Product Diagnostics to learn more.
What Are the Rejection Reasons?
Rejection Reason: Prohibited on Joom |

Rejection Reason: Abusive Content |
Abusive content is absolutely restricted on Joom, please refer to the article "Abusive Content" as a Rejection Reason to learn more.
Please make some improvements to your product content and it will be moderated again.
Rejection Reason: Inconsistent Product |
Your product will be rejected in case if:
- Product name doesn't fully or partially match product image and description;
- Product variants belong to the different product;
- Product image displays unrealistic characteristics.
Please make sure that the product name, product image and product description are consistent.

Your product will be rejected, if we notice problems with product variants (SKU). Please make sure that your product variants meet the requirements.
Rejection Reason: Problems With Size Table |
Some products must have the size information provided in the description. If you don't know how to provide this information, please refer to the article Size Charts to learn more.
Rejection Reason: Product Contains Prohibited Brand |
If you don't have the authorization, the platform will not allow you to use the brand name; if you have the authorization, please verify them.

Rejection Reason: Product Violates Intellectual Rights or Copyrights |
You cannot sell a branded product without permission from the trademark owner or a fake product as branded on Joom. Your product will be rejected as counterfeit if:
- Product name or product description includes the brand name;
- Product image displays the brand logo.
Please apply to verify your brand (trademark) to sell the branded products on Joom. Please refer to the article How to Verify Trademark on Joom? to learn more.
You cannot fully or partially copy the design of a famous branded product.

Rejection Reason: Other |
Your product will be rejected if it doesn't meet the basic product requirements.
Please make sure, that your products meet all the requirements to avoid rejection during moderation. In case your product meets all the requirements but is still rejected, please contact us via merchant@joom.com.
