"Freebies & Reviews" is a promotional activity allowing a customer to get a product for free in exchange for a review. Ratings and reviews can significantly affect product conversion. You can use "Freebies & Reviews" to promote both new products and products struggling to get customer's attention.
Each day a customer sees 20-50 products in Joom APP and can apply to get a maximum of two products free of charge. The system then automatically selects the lucky customers, who will receive the product and will have to write a real review of it later.
Rules of the Promo
- The price of the products participating in the promo must be under $20. If you want to promote products over $20, please contact Joom at email@example.com;
- All products are automatically selected by the system, not by a merchant;
- Each product can be selected by the system only four times, meaning that only four customers will get this product for free in exchange for a review;
- All freebie orders have to be delivered via Registered Mail or via Express Mail, using Non Registered Mail (economic shipping) is not allowed.
How to Participate in the Promo
First, make sure you meet the requirements to be eligible to participate. Your eligibility status is determined by your Performance. For more details please refer to the article Merchant Performance System.
If your performance allows you to participate in the promo, then:
- Go to the Marketing page in your Joom account;
- Choose Freebies tab;
- Toggle the switch Participate in Promotion.
If you wan to stop participating in the promo, simply Toggle the switch Participate in Promotion again.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
- It takes 48 hours to stop participating in the promo after the box is unticked;
- The platform prepares the products in advance, therefore part of the products may be added to the list of potential products for the promo, when "Freebies & Reviews" is still active;
- You may continue to receive freebie orders two weeks after stop participating in the promotion.
