Note: Excluded from assessment of merchant performance (penalty point system) are merchants in France, Russia, and Turkey.
Joom constantly examines the performance of each logistics channels added to the list of accepted shippers on Joom. In this way wa manage to ban shippers with a long shipping time or provide bad services, and filter out channels with a stable and reliable performance.
What are trusted shippers?
Trusted shipper are those who can guarantee high delivery efficiency and low package loss rate even during the peak of shipment.
Merchant can see the list of accepted shippers in Joom's API documentation. This list is made based on the performance of order shipment of different channels.
- This list of trusted shippers undergoes regular updates. We constantly add well-performing channels to the list of trusted shippers, and at the same time - we remove channels who's performance is worse than Joom expects from the list.
- Even if channels is marked as "trusted", it doesn't mean that we have direct relations with these shippers nor we are cooperating with them. To put it more frankly, our recommendation isn’t based on some prior arrangement, but on the merits of their shipping performance.
What are the advantages of working with trusted shippers?
- Guarantee order's logistics performance
- Reduce the number of penalty points for certain metrics.
Joom believes that using trusted channels can guarantee the high logistics efficiency, therefore, if a merchant use trusted shippers to ship more that 80% orders, he’ll reap credits for the “Delivery Within 30 Days (Orders Below $5)” and “Delivery Within 30 Days (Orders $5+)” metrics.
