Merchants can use size charts to show customers each product variation’s specific size parameters. This helps customers choose faster and easier. Certain products without size charts will be rejected during moderation or withdrawn from sale.

How to Provide Size Information?

The Size Charts' information should be indicated in the product’s description. 

1. Find the appropriate Example according to your product’s category below;
2. Copy it and Fill in the information respectively;
3. Add it as text in the product description;
4. Joom will create a size chart automatically.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:

• Size information in the product description must be provided in English and in Latin characters only: XS, S, M, etc.;
• All the product variants must include size information;
• Measurement parameters must be valid;
• The unit of length is "cm";
• If the product has elastic measurements, the difference in cm must not exceed 20 cm, otherwise, your product will be rejected during the product moderation process. Please note that the measurement parameters must be valid;
• If the system doesn't generate a size table automatically, check whether you've added all the possible sizes. If not, please indicate the missing ones;
• Please avoid any irrelevant information: for example, the words "approximate", "recommended age" etc.

How to Check Which Products Require Size Chart?

I. Category Requirements page

1. Go to the Category Requirements page in the Merchant Panel;
2. Filter out the list of categories by the Requirements filter -> Size Chart.

 

3. Click on one of the categories to check what measurements are required or recommended for the product. You will see the Good Examples as well. 

II. Product page

1. Go to the Product page in the Merchant Panel;
2. Filter out the products by the diagnostics filter -> A size table is recommended for this product;

3. Open the product page;
4. Click on the diagnostic or Category ID to check what measurements are required or recommended for the product. You will see the Good Examples as well.

Above, you can find examples of what a product measurement size chart looks like right now (mandatory size chart). E.g., if you're measuring the waist and hips of a pair of jeans, you measure the correct size and then multiply it by two. 

To increase customer satisfaction, we have added a new size chart with body measurements.

What are Body Measurements?

These are the measurements of a model with a specific size sitting perfectly. E.g., an oversized shirt with a chest circumference of 120 cm will fit perfectly on a person with a chest circumference of 100 cm. 

Use the following attributes to add body measurements to size charts:

• Body Upper Bust 
• Body Under Bust  
• Body Bust      
• Body Waist      
• Body Shoulders    
• Body Hips 
• Body Height   
• Body Thigh

You can add these attributes alongside your existing size chart without creating an additional one.

• Currently, indicating body measurements is not required, whereas indicating product measurements in size charts is mandatory.
• Products with a high refund rate due to the wrong size chart will be blocked.
• If you indicate body measurements in a size chart, please change it to a size chart with product measurements. Then you can then add custom body measurements through"body measurements”.
