Take Rate Policy on Joom
A product's take rate depends on its category (please see the details in the table below). In most cases, the take rate is 15%.

For Joom Logistics orders, the platform will charge commission from the product price only, the shipping fee is not included in commission calculation. If Joom Logistics cannot be selected when an order is processed, the platform will reimburse the merchant for the shipping cost without deducting a commission from it.

For other orders the commission is calculated based on the final price of the order: Commission = (Product Price + Shipping Cost) x Take Rate. |
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Merchants must set product prices and shipping costs separately, enter product weight, size, and other information accurately. Those parameters will affect shipping costs and commission.
Pay attention to the commission calculation method in the following situations:
- Promotions: If a merchant is participating in a promotional activity on Joom, the commission will be charged on the discounted order price.
- Partial refunds: If an order is partially refunded, the commission will be charged on the remaining order price after the refund.
- Full refunds: If an order is fully refunded, no commission will be charged.
