7. What is the extra charge in shipping? How is it calculated?
The extra cost refers to the charge to the merchant to cover costs of package returns due to merchant's own fault (such as shipping sensitive merchandise by mistake). Previously, the package pickup charges were also included in the extra charges, but now the platform decide to bear the cost for the merchant. . The merchant can apply for door-step package pickup with the company responsible for parcel pickup, or, after negotiation with the responsible company, ship the goods independently (to ship collect), and then the logistics company will bill the platform, and the platform will pay for it. Thus, it will not require the merchant to pay for the pickup.
8. How do you handle the refund for a package that is not delivered when using Joom Logistics? When will the platform announce the compensation policy?
The refund is currently borne by the merchant. The platform will purchase insurance for Joom Logistics channel in the future, by then all orders that are refunded due to logistics will be borne by the platform.
9. Is there a shipping discount when using Joom Logistics for large volume of orders?
There is no shipping discount at this stage, because no merchant who uses Joom Logistics has reached the "Large volume" status. After the amount of Joom Logistics shipments reaches a certain level, the platform will negotiate with the logistics partners to formulate discount policies.
10. Why use 10*15 or other specific shipping labels? What about 10*10, can I choose myself?
The format of shipping labels is set by the postal service and carriers. If shipping labels with other specifications are used, bar code scans may fail. . The platform cannot guarantee that shipping labels with other specifications can be used, and be free of any problem. The use of self-made Joom Logistics shipping labels is a serious violation.
