About product moderation
Joom will check the information such as the title, image, description, variants etc. of the product uploaded by a merchant. Products that do not meet platform requirements will get rejected.
Moderation process on Joom has three stages. The three stages go one after another. A product will be available to Joom customers only, if it got through the whole process.
|Stage 1||Stage 2||
If you updated information such as product image, name, description and size, subsequent moderation will be triggered. After a product for sale enters additional moderation, the old version of the product will continue to be sold at the Joom front desk. However, if the last edited version of the product maintains Rejected status for more than a month, the old version of the product will be removed from the listing. To learn more details, please refer to the article Product Moderation.
|Why can a product be rejected?|
Joom doesn't allow duplicated and counterfeit products, products containing abusive content are also prohibited. The product moderation status will be shown on the product page. If a product is rejected, corresponding information will be displayed. On the page of every rejected product, you can read the diagnostics.
If a product has problems or cannot be published, you can check the related diagnostics on the product page in your Joom account. Product diagnostics have been divided into three main categories, and each category is represented by different colors:
Critical problems are marked with the red color. A product with red colored diagnostics will be disabled. Such product can be re-published only if you solved the problem.
Potential problems are marked with the yellow color. A product with yellow diagnostics will not be disabled by the system immediately, but you should correct the problem in time.
The product is awaiting to be processed by Joom. After Joom finishes the product moderation, if no problems needs to be corrected, the product will be on the listing.
