Blogger Exchange is now open to our merchants. But before that happened, we sought out merchants to help us conduct our internal testing of the new tool. The data we received showed that using Blogger Exchange, in particular product reviews (promotion stickers) from bloggers, actually had a positive impact on sales! Our marketing department has analyzed statistics for several products as examples (ppt download). In addition, the blogger information can refer to the blogger database. The platform will update the database in a timely manner.
What is Blogger Exchange?
Blogger Exchange is a new tool for promoting your products on the Joom platform. Promotion occurs through reviews, which are seen by millions of users of our social network. When your products have quality reviews, they have significantly higher chances of being bought.
Why should anyone use Blogger Exchange?
Posts from bloggers are native content that organically attracts users. Bloggers produce beautiful photos and videos and write detailed reviews about products. Statistics show that sales of products with reviews from bloggers increase exponentially. Posts about your products on Blogger Exchange will help you stand out and bring far more appeal to your products.
How does Blogger Exchange work?
You simply create a request to review a product of yours, which bloggers can see. They then reply to your request, and you pick out which blogger writes the review. Afterward, you send the product to your chosen blogger, as you would any usual order, except in this case at no charge. The blogger then publishes the product review within 20 days after receiving the product, just like usual reviews. Users will be able to see it, as they would any other reviews on the platform. And it’ll also appear in the social network feed.
We highly suggest you send products that can be tracked. Doing so allows us to determine when the product was delivered. Without tracking numbers, we can’t know the delivery date and therefore set the deadline for the blogger to complete the review. In addition, we wouldn’t be able to figure out whether the order arrived in fact.
Who are bloggers?
The bloggers we select are the most popular on our platform and have been given open access to Blogger Exchange. This is a special section in our app. All requests that merchants make appear in the general list sorted by creation date. All bloggers that have access can respond to your requests.
How does one choose a blogger?
A blogger is a verified Joom author with many subscribers and posts. In choosing one, you can assess how many people are subscribed to the blogger’s updates, as well as the amount of requests he or she has fulfilled. You can also view all of the blogger’s posts in our app in the "Reviews" section. To find a blogger, you just need to type his or her name in the search field and enter his or her page. Now you can pick any blogger that responded to your request.
"Blogger Exchange" Permission
Not all bloggers in Joom have the right to participate in "Blogger Exchange." Currently, it is open to 45 bloggers. These bloggers are all selected by the Joom platform for their broad appeal and access to large audiences, which has led to increased sales. Therefore, bloggers that apply to do product postings are credible. More and more new bloggers are continually added. The blogger information can refer to the blogger database.
The number of subscribers or followers is not always correlated to sales volume. In other words, having 30,000 followers does not mean that it is better than having only 3000 followers. Merchants are advised to check the blogger's personal information and blog posts on the Joom app as a standard for selecting bloggers.
What is a review?
A review is an extended qualitative opinion about a product, which appears in the list of other reviews for your product. A review typically contains high-quality photos, videos, as well as text descriptions of the product, where the blogger shares his or her impressions about and emotional response to the product and its quality.
Where will users see the blogger’s review?
Posts from bloggers appear in "My Feed" of their subscribers, as well as in the feed "Interesting" for all users. Also, the review will appear as a testimonial for the product.
How can a request be made?
To make a request, simply select the product intended for review. Click "Create Request." On the “Create Request” page, specify the ID of the product and name (optional field), so that you can easily identify the request later. That’s all! The request has been made.
Which product should be reviewed?
Basically, you can choose any product for review. Still, we’d suggest selecting products with few or no reviews at all. Doing so helps them gain popularity and attention that quality products receive. When a blogger publishes a review for a previously unreviewed product, sales of that product go up remarkably.
It’s also a good idea to pay attention to products appropriate for a particular season, as users tend to find content about products that have immediate relevance more appealing.
Please note that reviews for products intended for consumers over the age of eighteen (18) cannot be requested. The same is true also for branded products that you don’t have permission to sell. Naturally, we exclude these products in relation to the use of Blogger Exchange.
How is a review paid for?
The section has just been launched, so you can request a review by simply sending the product for free to the blogger you’ve selected. Later on as the platform develops, you’ll be able to offer payment to bloggers that you’d like to review your products.
How can bloggers be contacted?
There’s currently no way to contact bloggers directly. Bloggers are users of our app. Still, you can always write to our Support Center if you’ve got questions about working with bloggers.
Blogger Exchange Billing Amount
The order for blogger exchange is similar to a free-trial promotion; the order amount is zero (0).
Cancel an Order
If a merchant does not want to ship to the selected bloggers for free, he or she can choose to cancel the order. Upon order cancellation, the page for the application review corresponding to the blogger exchange order will also change.
Error "Fail to cancel the selection of blogger"
The error "Fail to cancel the selection of blogger" will appear if the blogger has already placed the order. This means the order cannot be revoked temporarily, but the platform will continue to improve this function to make it more convenient.
We will continue to develop and improve Blogger Exchange. After that, we will support removal of the review application and assess the benefits of blogger posts. Please stay tuned.
