Problems related to the brand
Brand (trademark) was not found or brand (trademark) name does not match with the name on the certificate: please ensure that the brand name and brand registration number are filled in correctly. Any errors will result in the examiner’s inability to find and verify the relevant brands. You can check your brand information in the brand name database. Brand (trademark) name is not in English: Only English brand names are allowed. Please don't use non-Latin symbols to fill this field in. |
Problems related to the applicant identity
You are not an trademark Owner: trademark Owner is the company or individual that the trademark is registered to. You are not a Distributor: Distributor is the company or individual that got permission or authorization directly from the trademark Owner to sell the products protected by the trademark rights. You are not a Reseller: Reseller is the company or individual that got permission or authorization directly from the Distributor, not the trademark Owner, to sell the products protected by the trademark rights. Problems related to the document issuer
Distributor document was not issued by the trademark owner: distributor authorization document is not issued by the trademark owner, or the information does not match. Please note that distributor authorisation document must be issued by the trademark Owner. Reseller document was not issued by the Distributor: reseller authorization document is not issued by the Distributor, or the information does not match. Please note that reseller authorisation document should be issued by the Distributor. |
Problems related to the document quality
Document cannot be opened: you uploaded documents cannot be downloaded or opened. Please ensure that your documents format is correct and try to upload it again. Document is not a coloured scan or image: Please ensure that the document you uploaded has high-resolution or is a high-resolution color-scan. Documents in other formats are not accepted. See the good example below: Document is incomplete or unclear: there are missing pages, incomplete texts and/or images. Please make sure that all components on the documents are visible and readable. |
Problems related to the document content
Document seems to be photoshopped: provided documents are suspected of being photoshopped or otherwise altered. Please note that we don't accept any photoshopped documents. Expire date is incorrect: please check the date information in the authorisation documents. Expired or will expire soon: invoice must be renewed every two months and be valid for at least one month from the date of application. All other types of authorisation documents must be valid for at least six months from the date of application. Please check the date information in your authorisation documents. Goods and categories are incorrect: the products and categories in the application form do not match the information in provided authorization documents. Please check the allowed product categories in your documents and specify it in the application form. Territory restrictions are incorrect: allowed selling area in the application form should be the same as the information on the provided documents. Please check this information carefully. Authorization does not allow to sell on Joom: your may be only authorised to sell on other platforms. Please ensure that selling your products on the Joom platform is allowed according to the documents. |
Problems related to merchant information
Merchant Legal name does not match: legal name is a company name used during registration on Joom (in English and in local language). Merchants can see their legal names on the KYC Profile page. Merchant ID does not exist o merchant email is incorrect: merchants can see their merchant ID and email address on the account Settings page. Please ensure that you entered account login email, not your contact email address. |
