Special Promotions page is located in the Marketing section in your Joom account. Participation in the promotions can help boost sales in a big way!
How to Participate in the Special Promotions?
|Step 1. Choose a promotional activity on the Special Promotions page|
The platform will open the access to merchants who satisfy the promotion participation requirements. Before the access is closed, the activity status is labeled as Upcoming in green. Click to enter the event page you want to participate in.

|Step 2. Check the requirements|
Please read the promotion details such as description and requirements. If products don't meet the requirements, they will be filtered out from the promotion. Merchant committed into violation behavior will be punished accordingly.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Access to the promotion will be closed after the deadline. You can't edit your application, edit promotional products or revoke from participating.
|Step 3. Add products and set the discount|
Click on the Add Products button and you’ll be able to upload promotional products by ticking the product box or upload products in bulk by pasting comma, space or break separated product IDs. You will have to set the discount for selected products afterwards.
Don't forget to click on the Add Selected button.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Joom reserves the right to remove products from the promotion if they do not meet participation requirements or too sensitive for some groups of people for ethical or some other reasons.
|Step 4. Product Validation|
Once products have been selected and added to the promotion, they’ll undergo validation process to check if they satisfy the requirements. The validation process last for few seconds. If your product don't meet the requirements, you will see warning labels:

Your product doesn’t meet the requirements or not eligible, it can't be added to the promo.
|Yellow warning label||
Your product will be added, but it might have problems such as out of stock.
If you hover you mouse over the warning label, you’ll see additional tips. Please fix the problem according to the tips before access closed.
|Step 5. Confirm to participate|
Click on the Participate button on the upper right corner before you exit from the promo page. Otherwise your edits will not be saved.
Before the application deadline, you can edit the promotional products or withdraw from participation.
What is the "Change Postponed" status?
When a promotion status changes to Preparing, all the products added to this promotion will be turned into the Change Postponed status. It means that all the changes you made on the products added to the promotion will be published only after the promotion ends.
After you added the products to a platform promotion and set discounts for them, we will promote your products by announcing the future discounts to customers. We need to ensure the products' information (product price, variation, color, size etc…) and the discount do not change. You are also not allowed to change the stock of the products in promotion, please set appropriate stock for your promotional products in advance.
Unfortunately, you can't withdraw a product from a promotion once the promotion entered the Preparing stage. But you can withdraw a product from the future promotions if you have any.
If there are any critical problems on a promotional product, please disable the product. It is not allowed to add such product to the same promotion again. So, if you enabled this product afterwards, your operation will come into action when the promotion ends.
The changes you made on a product can be published after the promotion ends. In case you added the products to several promotions, the changes you made can be published after the last promotion ends.
How to Evaluate the Performance?
You can see some graphics on the Special Promotions page. They reflect efficiency of the promotional campaigns you participate in. You can change the date range of the graphics to evaluate specific periods.
There is a Promotional activities list below the graphics, where you can analyse metrics to evaluate the performance of each given activity. If you want to see more metrics, click the last button in the metrics list () and choose specific metrics in the drop-down list. If you don't know what a metric means, hover the mouse cursor over the metric and you will see a tooltip explaining the metric's meaning.
