Declaration of Conformity
The Declaration of Conformity is a legal document which declares that a product is compliant with the safety standards of the EU and CE marking requirements.
⚠️ Please note that for some types of products such as medical products only CE certificate is acceptable but not DoC.
How to obtain the Declaration of Conformity?
Declaration of Conformity can be issued by the manufacturer based on the results of the product technical test that they’ve conducted by themselves according to the European standards. You can find brief guidelines on how to obtain a declaration of conformity on the official resources of the European Commission. The draft of the declaration of conformity can be found here.

What information should be included in the DoC?

Please note that the declaration of conformity in any case shall be accompanies by the mandatory technical documentation, including test reports, and is not valid in the absence of the mentioned documents.

If you are not a manufacturer, but a distributor or an importer, you must ensure that products are accompanied by the declaration of conformity and other technical documentation, so you will be able to present them upon request of the competent authorities or Joom. You can find out more about technical documentation here.
I uploaded the DoC, why are the yellow diagnostics still there?
Please note that from the point of view of legal risks and customer complaints, we consider certificates from EU-authorized labs to be more reliable, so we recommend obtaining them. That’s why even when DoC is added, the yellow diagnostics will remain on your products but will not influence your sales.
