This article includes the requirements on how to fill in a product card only for the Home & Kitchen category products. It will help you increase customer interest and sales of your products.

General Rules
Prices: If the products are shipped by JL, the prices must be specified without the shipping cost. We recommend you set the most affordable prices to attract customers.
Reviews: Pay attention to product reviews. Check what customers write to ensure a good product rating.
Store Promotion: Take part in our promotional activities to promote your store and boost your sales on Joom:
It’s prohibited to:
- Use registered trademarks without authorization of the brand on the platform.
- Use unauthorized brands in the product name and product description.
- Use logos of unauthorized brands. Emojis are also a registered trademark.
- Products related to anime, film and book characters, songs, etc., can also be identified by the copyright holder as counterfeit, in which case the platform will be forced to suspend the account and your payments (TRO). In the case of a TRO, you will have to settle the issues with the rights' holder. The platform only provides the contacts of the plaintiff. Please note that in the case of a single product complaint, the entire account may get blocked, so keep an eye on your products and authorize brands on the platform.

Top Store Requirements
Before applying for the Top Store status, please ensure the store matches all the requirements:
- Store should have at least 20 products and 20 orders.
- Stores should have consistent products of the same category/one theme/one style.
- If products are collected within one category, it should be a category of the 2nd level and below. Example: Home & Kitchen is a category of the 1st level. It has 2nd level categories inside, e.g., Home Textile, Bathroom products, Lights & Lighting, etc. Each 2nd category has smaller subcategories, e.g., Home Textile has Curtains, Bedding, Chair Cushions. So, if you want to get a Top Store, your products must belong to one of the narrower categories (level 2, 3 and further).
- If you’ve added to the store products from other categories after receiving the Top Store status, Top Store status can be withdrawn.
- Logo and cover should be loaded in the store. They should reflect the style of the store and products presented in it.

Store should have an appropriate name. Please read this article to learn more.
- All product images in the store should be made in the same style. We recommend using the same sample. If there’s a brand name or logo on the image, then all the products should have it on the same part of the image. We also recommend using a white background, but it’s not required.
- Store average product rating should be > 4.2. Store rating should be > 4.5. Store rating should be > 4.6 for the following product categories: bathroom products, home decor, home improvement, home thermometers, home keeping, organization & kitchen, dining & bar.

Store should have good performance metrics (including Cancellation Rate, Quality Refund Rate, Quick Fulfillment Rate, Orders Over $10 Cancellation Rate and Orders Over $10 Quality Refund Rate).
- It’s beneficial to have warehouses abroad, and it’s preferable to have an authorized brand on the platform.
There are Exclusive Privileges available only for Top Stores:
- Top Stores get more traffic. Top Stores’ products can be placed higher in the search results.
- Top Stores receive additional marketing activity. Get covered in posts in the internal social network Joom Official, supported by internal Joom bloggers, competitions inside the store (in coordination with KAM), and advertised by external bloggers (in coordination with KAM).
- A test order can be made to check the quality and leave the first reviews about new products (in coordination with KAM).
- If a merchant uploads a new unique product line at competitive prices, we can help boost the sales of the new products through internal advertising and by giving additional traffic (in coordination with KAM).

You can take part in additional Weekly promotions (in coordination with KAM), Gift with Purchase (GWP) promos, Influencer Program, and create your own promotions.
Product Images
Main Images
Upload only real product images. The main image should be concise and contain a minimum of text.
- The main image should reflect which product you sell. The focus on the main image should be on the product itself.
- All inscriptions on the images must be in English only. The use of other languages is prohibited.

Place all the basic information on 2-5 photos. According to our research, most customers check the first 5 product images, but many of them check all the images, so we recommend uploading the maximum possible number of additional images (not more than 20).

Main image should be on a white background if there are no special requirements for the subcategory. You can use the product's main image, not on a white background, if it is necessary to demonstrate its main characteristics or show how the product looks in the interior.

Main product image should be uniform and complete (it is forbidden to use collages). It is allowed to place unique or basic product characteristics on the image, but we highly recommend not using a lot of text.

You can use only those symbols that will be understandable to all customers. It is allowed to indicate voltage (in volts), power (in ampere-hours, milliampere-hours, or watt), the number of products in the set (example: 1 pcs), size of the products (in centimeters and inches). It is allowed to place monosyllables (not more than 2-4 words), material name, and the number of color variants (example: 6 colors).

If the product is branded, you can specify the brand name in the upper-left corner. The brand name can be placed only if you authorized the brand on the platform. Otherwise, it will not pass the moderation process.

If the product is not a set and doesn’t imply many contents, then the main image should reflect exactly the amount the customer will receive when placing a single order.

It's prohibited to:
- Use images of other merchants, images showing products of other brands, images from customer reviews, images from bloggers, or any other images you have no right to use.
- Use photo editors to process images, e.g., to change colors in variants. Images of products should show the customer exactly how the product looks in real life. However, photo editors are allowed to add product information to your image.
- If you specify the size of the products on the image, indicate the size in centimeters or inches and centimeters. It is forbidden to indicate the size of the products in inches only.
- Don't add several pieces of product if the product is sold in one unit. To demonstrate various product options, you should show them on additional images, not on the main image.

- Add an image that shows the product application. You can demonstrate the technical features and the main functions on additional images.

- If the product is large, it is necessary to add additional images, so the customer can see it from all sides.
- If the product is intended for use in certain conditions, the image should reflect its usage in these conditions. For example, if the LED tape is suitable for TV, show it on the additional image.

- When specifying the size of the product on the image, indicate it both in centimeters and inches, so it’s understandable to customers from different countries. It is forbidden to specify size only in centimeters or inches.

- Add as many images as you consider necessary to comply with the above recommendations. Many customers judge the product only by the images, so we recommend reflecting the maximum amount of information about the product in additional photos.
- If the products are made of glass or any other fragile material (such as household appliances), we recommend you specify how they will be packaged. Also add an image that shows the packaging to assure customers it won’t be damaged during transportation.

Product Videos
It’s relevant for Top Stores only.
- Video shouldn’t exceed 20-40 seconds and should be longer than 10 seconds.
- You need to demonstrate product functions and show how they work or are applied.
- Video should be of good quality.
- Product on the video should be visible.
- We recommend adding 360 videos and images to the product card. According to our calculations, such content in a product card increases conversion by 50%.

Product Name
Include only product’s main features, advantages, distinctive features to help customers find your product faster.
Please note:

- Product name should be concise and clear.
- Specify only the most important characteristics of the product in the product name.
- We recommend using the following scheme:
Brand (if available) + number of units in the kit (only if there are more than 2 products) + name of the product + main characteristics + set (what is included) + additional search words

- There is no need to specify all the search words in the product name. You can add them in your product’s card.
- If the product is only for limited specific places, indicate in the name where it should be used.
- Use separate words (nouns) or short phrases (for example, motion sensor).
- Indicate only the quantity that the customer will receive in one order.

Product Description
Start the product description with a general description of your product, and then delve into its features and characteristics.
- Description of the product should be indicated in English.
- Please don’t repeat a product name more than 2 times in the product card. You can add search phrases to the “keywords”.
- Make sure it is as detailed as possible, as many customers do read the whole description. The most accurate description of the product will help to avoid negative reviews.
- If the product is electrical, correctly specify its power, voltage, capacity. We don’t recommend specifying the power of reverse current in the description, as this leads to an increase in the number of negative reviews.
- If your product needs to be connected to electricity, specify the type of outlet in the product description.
- If the product must be connected to the socket, specify the power and type of plug in the description.
- If the product is connected to a computer, the description must specify the type of input and wire compatible with the device.
- If the product comes with instructions or specifications, the information must be the same as what you specified on the platform. In case it’s different, the customer will have the right to make a refund.
- If the product involves assembling or fastening (e.g., to the wall), then it must come with instructions in the description, in the photo or in the video (for Top Stores). Also, if the merchant sends a paper instruction with the product, then it must match the one in the description.
- Make sure your description includes product specification, distinctive features, type of packaging that is included in the package, and special remarks (e.g., that the actual length and width of textiles may be bigger or smaller).
- If the product is used with batteries or accumulators, specify in the description whether they are included, or the customer will have to buy them.
- If the product has several working functions, they must all be written in the description.
- Avoid solid text in the description. The more paragraphs and divisions in the text, the more it’s convenient to read for the customer, and the likelihood that he will find answers to all his questions also increases.
- If the product may be dangerous to the health of adults or children carries any risks, etc., please include this information in the product description as a separate paragraph.
- You must indicate the maximum weight that the product can hold if it is supposed that something will be placed or hung on it (e.g., a hook or a shelf).

Product Variants
- If there are several variants, we recommend specifying the size of 2-3 sides of the product in the “Size" field.
- Specify the size of the sides with the "X" character between the numbers.
- If you indicate the number of products in the Size field, use this format – 2Pcs or 3Pcs or 4Pcs and so on.

- “Size" field can be used to specify additional characteristics of the products. For example, the size + number of units/size of the curtain + mount type, etc. However, remember that the customer must clearly understand the differences between the variants, don’t include unnecessary information in the “Size" field. You can always specify additional information in the product description.
- If you enter the number of products in the set in the “Size" field, ensure that the variant’s image indicates the amount that customer will receive. If it’s indicated 1 piece in the “Size" field, then the image also should show 1 piece.
- If possible, create a separate product for each variant. Don’t put extra information in the “Size" field. It may discourage the customer from buying your product.
- If there are several color variants, all color information should also be written in the product description.
- In the “Color" field, use the images that reflect the color difference between the products well, or add a color wheel of the required color. Please note that when choosing a color, customers are guided by the shade they see on the product card. So don't use Photoshop or any other editors to change the product's color. If the customer receives a product in color different from the one on the product card, we can make a full refund to the customer. All color variations must be specified in the product description.
